PACE Telematics launches mobile payment at OIL! fuel stations in Germany

PACE Telematics integrates OIL! service stations into its mobile payment network. Already 100 of the 220 OIL! locations are live for mobile payment with PACE Pay. At least 170 OIL! service stations are to be connected by the summer – a significant milestone for OIL! itself, as this marks the starting signal for mobile payment at its stations.

The rollout is already running successfully and the connection of the OIL! fuel station network is progressing rapidly. The majority of stations are already live and the network will be further expanded in the coming weeks. In addition to the introduction of PACE Pay, the mobile payment options of DKV and Roadrunner will also be integrated into the system. This means that private and business customers with fuel cards will benefit from simple and fast payment directly at the fuel pump – without having to go to the shop.

With the integration of OIL! fuel stations, PACE Telematics is further expanding its connected fueling network and driving forward the digitalization of the fuel station market. The connection is made via the Mobile Payment Hub (MPH), a proven interface for the integration of mobile payment solutions, which ensures fast and smooth implementation. For OIL!, this step marks its entry into the world of mobile payment – an important development towards greater convenience for customers and more efficient processes at the stations.

With the open Connected Fueling Platform, PACE enables a secure and future-proof mobile payment infrastructure. OIL! is thus focusing on digitalization, innovation and digital payment technologies in order to offer its customers a modern and convenient refuelling experience.

With the successful connection of OIL! fuel stations, the PACE network continues to grow and makes mobile payment accessible to even more drivers. The PACE Drive app is available free of charge in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store and supports a variety of payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, credit cards and various fuel and fleet cards.
