PACE Telematics expands market leadership in Italy and extends European acceptance network to over 12,000 gas stations

PACE Telematics, the leading European provider of mobile payment solutions, is strengthening its position in Italy by connecting around 250 additional gas stations belonging to its partner Italiana Petroli (IP). With this step, PACE is further expanding its industry-leading acceptance network and consolidating its role as the operator of the largest mobile payment network on the Italian market. Over the next few months, the network will be expanded by almost 600 additional stations. At the same time, the company is reaching a strategic milestone: the Europe-wide network of the Connected Fueling Platform now comprises more than 12,000 gas stations.

The expansion of the network in Italy is a significant step forward for the digitization of fuel cards and mobile payment solutions. The newly integrated IP stations are now available to users of the PACE Drive app and connected partner solutions such as DKV APP&GO, offering drivers throughout Italy greater flexibility and convenience.

The Connected Fueling platform from PACE Telematics enables drivers—whether private or commercial, in cars, vans, or trucks—to pay for fuel directly at the pump. The payment process is handled via the PACE Drive app or integrated applications from partners, such as fuel card issuers. The technology is available for smartphones, smartwatches, and directly in the vehicle via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring a fast, secure, and smooth process.
