PACE Telematics GmbH today announced an important step in its corporate development: with immediate effect, the company will operate under the name PACE Mobility GmbH. This strategic evolution is accompanied by a change at the top of the company. Julius Parrisius and Mike Kasperlik have been appointed as the new managing directors. They succeed Robin Schönbeck and Philip Blatter, who are stepping down as managing directors.
The renaming to PACE Mobility reflects the rapid development of the portfolio and the evolving market positioning. While the company’s roots lie in telematics and connected refueling, PACE has long since developed into a leading technology provider for payment solutions in the mobility sector.
“The name PACE Mobility reflects our vision of simplifying and connecting digital payment processes not only at the fuel pump, but throughout the entire mobility ecosystem,” explains Julius Parrisius, new managing director of PACE Mobility GmbH. “We take a holistic approach to mobility. Our technology seamlessly connects energy companies, mobility service providers, fleet management systems, vehicle manufacturers, and app providers. The name change is the logical consequence of our expanded strategic focus.”
Julius Parrisius and Mike Kasperlik, two leaders who have already played a key role in shaping PACE’s success story in recent years in senior positions, are joining the management team. Their focus is on further advancing the platform’s market penetration in Europe and expanding its technological market leadership.
They take over from Robin Schönbeck and Philip Blatter. The two previous managing directors founded PACE in 2015 and developed it from a start-up into the technological market leader in the field of mobile payment, thus laying the foundation for today’s growth. The company would like to express its sincere thanks to Robin Schönbeck and Philip Blatter for their visionary work, their tireless commitment, and the successful establishment of the platform in the European market.
A central pillar of the corporate strategy under the new management remains its positioning as a neutral and independent industry solution for the whole of Europe. As a company within the DKV Mobility Group, PACE Mobility will continue to operate independently.
The decision to operate under the new independent brand PACE Mobility sends a clear signal to the market.“Our strength lies in our openness,” emphasizes Mike Kasperlik, Managing Director of PACE Mobility GmbH. “We see ourselves as a technological enabler for all market participants. DKV Mobility’s strategic commitment enables us to grow quickly and solidly, while at the same time guaranteeing that our platform remains neutral and accessible to every partner – whether they are large gas station operators, fuel card issuers, or OEMs.”
With its new structure and sharpened profile, PACE is ideally positioned to continue leading the digital transformation of the mobility market in 2026.
