The PACE Connected Fueling platform is not only connected to gas stations, but also integrated into various apps. This also applies to three apps of the provider pocketnavigation.de. Camping Navi by POIbase, Tankschwein and Blitzer POIbase are the names of the apps in which users can now also take advantage of mobile payment at the gas pump.

All three apps are available free of charge in the Android Play Store. Camping by POIbase offers services for campers and caravanners, such as a route calculation that takes vehicle data into account. The Tankschwein app, on the other hand, shows all current gas station prices live on the map along a planned route and in the surrounding area. The special feature: The app also finds the cheapest gas station directly on the route–without detours. The third app in the group is Blitzer by POIbase. It is available for Android and Android Auto and warns acoustically and visually of potential mobile and fixed speed cameras as well as dangerous spots.

The Connected Fueling platform is web-based and integrated into the three apps via a browser component. This makes it easy for app users to click their way to the PACE Connected Fueling platform to start and complete the payment process at the gas station. Experienced PACE customers can pay in their familiar environment. New customers only have to register once and can then also make mobile payments.

By working with PACE, our app users get a simple and convenient payment service to pay at the gas station without any stress from their car or RV.

This gives app users the option of paying directly at the pump with their smartphone via Connected Fueling. To do this, they simply have to select the gas pump, carry out the refueling process as usual, and then authorize the payment. They receive the receipt by mail and via their PACE user account.

Connected Fueling is now also available in Android Auto for the first time as part of the speed camera warning app Blitzer by POIbase.

“By working with PACE, our app users get a simple and convenient payment service to pay at the gas station without any stress from their car or RV,” says Tobias Bischof, CEO of pocketnavigation.de.

“We offer various integration paths for our Connected Fueling platform. One of them is web-based via the browser, which is a fast and uncomplicated option for an app provider. The fact that pocketnavigation.de has integrated us directly into three of their apps as well as into Android Auto makes us particularly happy,” adds Julius Parrisius, Head of Business Development at PACE Telematics GmbH.
